Job Summary and Qualifications
The Scheduler will manage clerical and scheduling functions in Surgical Services departments, including scheduling procedures, acting as a liaison to physicians, operating and maintaining computer systems, entering and maintaining daily charges and statistical information. The position requires basic to advanced computer skills, typing and word processing abilities, and knowledge of medical terminology. Candidates should have one to three years of experience as a unit secretary or scheduler, and possess strong communication skills.
