OR Posting Clerk
Purpose & Scope
The OR Posting Clerk is responsible for scheduling of elective and add-on procedures through a computerized system. Scheduling is coordinated with consideration to patients, physicians, and Central Registration Requirements. Additionally, he/she is responsible for updating downtime operative nurse's records from the OR, when requested.
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of OR posting experience is required.
Experience
No specific certifications or licenses are required.
