OR/PACU Weekend RN

Opportunity Overview

The role is available for an OR/PACU RN at Shady Grove Fertility in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM Eastern Time.

How You’ll Contribute

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and develop care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients under various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education

Qualifications and Skills

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU (preferred)
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Able to communicate accurately and concisely
