OR/PACU Manager

About the role

The OR/PACU Manager position is available at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in San Ramon, California, with occasional travel to Melo Park, California. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pacific Time, with a salary range of $160,000 to $170,000 per year (commensurate with experience).

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize Clinical Services responsibilities to increase staff efficiency and best utilize the staff's skills and abilities
• Set goals for Clinical Services staff and motivate staff to accomplish the goals
• Cookordinate the effective delivery of patient services by monitoring patient flow and program operations
• Aid in the training and orientation of staff
• Aid in administering performance appraisal evaluations for clinical staff
• Aid in addressing and resolving day-to-day issues that pertain to clinical operations
• Aid primary nurses with coverage as needed and monitor workloads
• Handle patient issues/complaints

Qualifications and Skills

• OR/PACU Experience
• Valid RN License or willing to obtain upon hire
• BS in nursing, healthcare administration, education, or business management required
• Prior Supervisory/Management experience and demonstrated leadership qualities and activities required; 3-5 years preferred
• Ability to work well independently and demonstrate good judgment along with the ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
• Knowledge of clinical procedures, program operations, computer software, and equipment
