About the role

The Operating Room Technician (ORT) functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and setting up for cases.
• Managing supplies and equipment.
• Anticipate the needs of the patient and physician and make decisions within the scope of their practice.

Requirements

• High School graduate.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program in a technical or Jr. College or Hospital based program.
• One Year OR Job Experience As An ORT Preferred.
