Job Summary and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Working knowledge of OR Operations required
- Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position preferred
- Experience in Meditech preferred
- This position has no responsibility to treat or care for patients
About the Role
You will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of business practices and procedures related to the operating room
You will also coordinate and supervise the OR analyst, and the charge entry secretary
You will assist the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/ procedures and in the financial management of the Unit
You will be responsible for the surgical revenue cycle; complete billing/charging on a daily basis, create supply Item Add requests, and reconcile ancillary charge reports
You will create NPS and department reports to provide statistics/ data for Administration, QI/QM, Finance, Surgical Service, Special Projects
You will support hospital staff as requested and coordinate with other departments needs as they interface to OR/ PACU nursing/ scheduling documentation
