OR Assistant - Labor and Delivery

The OR Assistant is responsible for transporting patients, specimens, blood products, instruments, equipment, and supplies to designated locations. Additional responsibilities include restocking surgical suites and support areas, as well as disinfecting operating rooms and equipment as needed. All duties are performed in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. Essential Functions Manages patient care assignments in accordance with hospital standards.Remains alert to changes in patient condition and promptly reports any significant signs and symptoms to assigned licensed nursing staff.Perform disinfection of operating rooms and equipment in accordance with hospital protocols.Ensure all surgical areas are properly cleaned and maintained to meet infection control standards.Restock surgical suites and support areas with necessary supplies and equipment.Basic Life Support (BLS) High School Diploma or GED Work Locations TGH Main Campus Eligible for Remote Work On Site Job Surgical Services Organization Florida Health Sciences Center Tampa General Hospital Schedule Full-time Shift Night Job Job Type On Site Shift Hours 7pm - 7am Minimum Salary 15.00 Job Posting Oct 11, 2026, 2:38:54 AM
