About the role
Nationwide Vision is seeking an Optometrist to join their team at the Yuma office. The practice focuses on maintaining the health and development of patients' eyes through medically focused and clinically integrated eye care services.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients
- Perform eye exams and prescribe appropriate treatments
- Maintain clinical autonomy while benefiting from investments in new equipment and infrastructure
- Collaborate with a strong doctor-led leadership team and Medical Executive Board
- Participate in a national medical network offering a wealth of expertise, resources, and knowledge
- Work within an established network for an immediate, sustained referral base
- Utilize a custom and proprietary Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an AOA accredited program
- Current Arizona State License
- Passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
- Experience in primary eye care and ocular disease management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
