About the role

Shasta Cascade Heath Centers is seeking an optometrist to launch and lead its first in-house eye care service offering in beautiful rural Northern California. The role is open to recent graduates and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Co-manage surgical cases with ophthalmologists
• Lead and expand the newly established Optometry Department
• Participate in provider meetings and support community outreach initiatives

Requirements

• Optometry license in the state of California
• Doctor of Optometry degree
