Optometrist - Saturdays only

About the role

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Lakewood, CO is seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for all patients, diagnose and treat vision-related symptoms, and instruct staff on how to assist in patient treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques
• Build a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback, developing subordinates’ skills, and encouraging growth
• Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate
• Prepare a doctor case file including medical history, inform patients on general care and health of eyes at regular intervals, and stay informed on the latest vision treatment techniques
• Perform other duties that support the business and mission

Requirements

• State optometry license in good standing
• Strong interest in working with children
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time

Schedule

Part-time position for Saturdays only.

Pay

$500–$650 per day.
