About the role
Pugliese Family Eye Care in Smithfield, Rhode Island, is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join its highly respected, patient-centered practice as it plans for a smooth transition following a provider's retirement at the end of June.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope optometric care for a diverse patient base, seeing approximately 20 patients per day in a dynamic and rewarding practice environment.
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams using advanced technology such as Optomap, Eterna, VR visual field systems, and automated phoropters.
- Diagnose and manage a range of vision and eye health needs, including glaucoma management, myopia management, geriatric and pediatric care, and sports vision.
- Deliver personalized care to patients of all ages, with a focus on a well-rounded mix of medical and routine vision care.
- Work closely with a supportive team to create a seamless, compassionate experience for every patient.
Requirements
- Optometry license in the state of Rhode Island.
