What You'll Do

As an Associate Optometrist, you'll work 24 to 30 hours per week providing comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. In this role, you'll:

• Perform eye examinations
• Diagnose and manage vision problems and eye diseases
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
• Partner with the team to create a comfortable, positive patient experience
• Maintain accurate, timely records

The practice typically sees 45 to 55 ophthalmology patients and 20 to 25 optometry patients daily, offering a steady, engaging environment with a meaningful variety of patient needs.

Who You Are

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Current state optometry license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience using electronic health records
• Thoughtful, caring clinician who values meaningful patient connections
• Takes pride in creating a calm, supportive experience from exam to follow-up
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys educating patients, answering questions with patience and clarity
