About the role

This full-time Optometrist opportunity offers the chance to support six respected practices across Oregon, each serving its own patient community while sharing a commitment to high-quality, comprehensive vision care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential coverage across all six practice locations, supporting vacations, leaves of absence, and staffing needs while maintaining continuity of patient care.
  • Perform thorough eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and help each patient find visual solutions that support their eye health, lifestyle, and overall experience.
  • Care for diverse patient populations, adapt to different practice environments, travel between assigned locations based on scheduling needs, and navigate multiple office workflows or electronic health record systems when applicable.
  • Gain broader clinical experience, strengthen problem-solving skills, collaborate with different teams and leaders, and build connections with a larger network of colleagues and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Oregon with a Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure.
  • At least two years of prior clinical practice experience.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.).
  • Strong clinical expertise, sound judgment, and a patient-first approach to every exam.
  • Flexible to adjust to varying patient volumes, team needs, office workflows, and practice environments.
  • Current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.

Pay

Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
