Optometrist (Dawn M Miller, OD) - Garden Grove, CA

About the role

The practice is seeking a like-minded, patient-focused optometrist for a part-time associate position with the intention of a gradual transition and potential buyout within 1–2 years. In the short term, temporary coverage will be needed for approximately four weeks during a planned medical leave, followed by an ongoing part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Seeing patients
• Charting in Eyefinity Encompass
• Assisting with select eyeglass and contact lens patient interactions
• Providing direction to support staff on scheduled office days

Requirements

• Optometry license in the state of California
• Strong contact lens knowledge
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience in glaucoma management and surgical co-management
• Comfort working with toric, RGP, and multifocal contact lenses
