Optometrist (BNC Eyecare Group) - Montclair, NJ

About the role

BNC Eyecare Group is a full scope primary care practice located in Montclair, New Jersey, just 30 minutes outside of NYC. We are seeking an Associate Optometrist who is committed to independent optometry and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings
• Manage and treat ocular diseases
• Use advanced technology including OCT, Optos, Visual Field, Autorefraction, IPL, Punctal Plugs, Amnionic Membranes, and Low Vision Devices
• Collaborate with a supportive team of professionals including opticians, technicians, and administrative staff
• Provide education on eye health and encourage informed patient decisions

Requirements

• Licensed Optometrist in New Jersey
• Comfortable with treating ocular disease

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in optometry preferred
• Experience with scleral contact lenses and contact lens fitting is a plus
