About the role

We’re seeking an experienced, state‑licensed Optometrist to lead and coach quality of care and the patient experience in our Seattle, WA market. The Chief Clinical Optometrist will lead the practice, develop other ODs into leaders, and has opportunities for career growth including practice ownership with Visionworks and VSP Vision. This role offers mentorship from industry leader Dr. Taylor Tedder.

Visionworks Doctors of Optometry provide comprehensive eye care while handling all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary‑care practices offer routine exams, contact‑lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices are equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology, including Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR on iPad, and Henson 9000 Virtual Field Analyzer. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, including routine exams, visual and medical condition management.
• Perform patient examinations and recommend vision‑enhancing solutions based on prescription findings.
• Handle eye emergencies.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver Visionworks’ commitment to improving access to healthcare.
• Participate as a member of Visionworks “#Oneteam,” working full‑time or part‑time as needed.

Qualifications

• State‑licensed Optometrist with an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to patient care.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing a wide range of services for optimal eye health and lifelong vision.
• Desire to help grow the business long‑term and develop other ODs into leaders.
