Optometric Technician

Responsibilities

• General knowledge of eye anatomy
• Conducting preliminary testing
• Gathering patient medical history
• Managing patient flow throughout the office
• Contact lens training
• Scheduling appointments
• Answering multiple phone lines
• Greeting and assisting patients
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literacy
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt

Qualifications

• Previous experience in optometry or a medical office is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate
• Willingness and ability to travel to all listed locations
• Open 7 days a week, requires 2 to 3 weekends a month (no exceptions)

• Pay range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
