Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for their eye examinations.
- Obtain patient medical and ocular histories.
- Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity, autorefraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Auxiliary the doctor during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Inform patients about contact lenses, eyewear, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Clean and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
- Support front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
- Receive contact lens training, education, and ordering.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of contact lenses and eyewear.
- Strong organizational skills.

Pay
- $15.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Saturdays: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
