About the role
You'll be a key part of our patient experience — greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike.
Responsibilities
- Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing
- Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
- Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
- Keep patient records accurate and up to date
- Aid with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Friendly, people-first personality
- Detail-oriented and organized under pressure
- Team player who is dependable and takes ownership
- Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
