SVS Vision Opticians help customers achieve the right type of eyeglasses, lens shape, or contact lenses in accordance with their eyesight needs. Opticians work as part of a team of eye care professionals including optometrists, serving patients who have had an eye exam and received a prescription for corrective lenses or need protective lenses including safety glasses and sunglasses. This rewarding position involves providing excellent customer service, building relationships with patients, and styling eyewear to fit their needs and personality.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent patient and customer service in the selection, ordering, and dispensing of eyewear. Complete pre-screening activities prior to patient exams. Prepare work orders for the Optical Lab. Process medical billing information. Maintain frame inventory.
