About the role

Manage a team of engineers and designers, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of optical products, from concept to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of optical products
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in optical products

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Engineering or related field, with 15+ years of experience in optical product development
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale optical product development projects
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

• Expertise in optical materials and manufacturing processes

• Experience with optical testing and characterization techniques
