For our MYKITA store in New York Soho, 458 Broome St, we are looking for a highly motivated Optical Sales Associate (all genders) to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly sell MYKITA’s premium frames and lenses to a diverse clientele, tailoring recommendations to individual needs.
  • Perform eyewear dispensing, adjustments, repairs, and maintenance, supported by comprehensive training to ensure the highest standards.
  • Represent MYKITA’s brand, vision, and values, consistently upholding our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
  • Deliver a highly personalized and memorable customer experience.
  • Perform precise lens measurements and manage the ordering process with accuracy and care.
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a retail optical environment.
  • A strong passion for consulting and selling high-end eyewear to an international clientele.
  • Attention to detail, combined with a clear focus on quality and service.
  • Ability to work independently, with a structured and well-organized approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and timely approach to customer correspondence.
  • A highly motivated and team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work weekends.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are considered a plus.
  • Lens edging skills are beneficial, but not required.
