Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out routine rebuild, testing, and refurbishment of optical sub-assemblies related to FLIR Imaging Systems using appropriate documentation and drawings.
- Work as a member of the service team to meet department goals related to repair turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in developing standard repair and rebuild procedures which will be documented to company and ISO standards.
- Provide technical support in the development of customer service spare parts inventory, including establishing requirements for contents and quantities.
- Effectively provide internal customer support regarding technical repair issues when required.
- Provide accurate repair estimate details which include labor, material, and timeline requirements.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years of prior work experience in a related field required.
- A certificate in optics/electronics or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and proficiency using electronic test equipment are desired.
- A good working knowledge of computers, computer peripherals, and programs is required.
- Able and willing to lift a minimum of 45 pounds unassisted as needed.
