Ops Supervisor - Station
About the role
This position requires a minimum of six (6) months experience in package handling roles such as those found at FedEx, in fast-paced environments like retail, hospitality, fulfillment centers, warehouses, docks, or stock rooms/stock functions. Alternatively, candidates may have completed a certification program or earned an Associate's Degree in a related field, or have two (2) or more years of college coursework towards a Bachelor's Degree.
Responsibilities
- Build professional rapport and positively influence diverse groups
- Provide employees with instruction on processes and practices
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant technology-based projects
- Coach and act as a knowledge resource to other employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in package handling roles
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- May work in hot or cold temperatures
- May work in an environment with loud noise and fumes
- Minimal travel required
