OPS Research Assistant
Job Description
The Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy department is seeking an OPS Research Assistant with quantitative research methods expertise, including scientific writing and interpretation of results. Duties include:
- Independently conducts a wide array of standard laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrates some ability to use judgement when necessary to adapt standard methods and techniques.
- Assists researchers in a variety of scientific fields by performing tests, processing samples, collecting data, setting up and operating equipment, and maintaining laboratory stock.
- Makes initial analysis of results.
- Limited ability to troubleshoot and modify procedures.
- Absorbs and provides interpretation of results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Statistics or Health Sciences with 1 year research experience.
- Possession of a Master's degree in Statistics or Epidemiology is preferred.
