About the role

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo according to safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and report any issues to the fleet manager.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and fuel efficiency standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route updates and any concerns.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• At least 2 years of verified driving experience.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
