About the role

Astrion is a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor providing engineering, project management, and technical support services to the U.S. military. We are currently one of the largest DoD contractors at Hanscom AFB, MA, supporting two of the largest USAF Directorates.

Responsibilities

• Supports the acquisition process, including requirements development, contract management, and program execution.
• Ensures configuration management processes are implemented and maintained to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Manages data integrity and confidentiality, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Develops and implements cybersecurity strategies to protect systems and networks from threats.
• Conducts electrical engineering tasks such as design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems.
• Manages acquisition programs, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure timely completion.
• Oversees security measures to protect sensitive information and assets.
• Develops and executes test plans to validate system functionality and performance.

Requirements

• Active DoD security clearance.
• Experience in relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management).
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., DoD Directive 5230.22).
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced degree or additional relevant experience may be considered.

Skills

• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policies and procedures.
• Experience with configuration management tools and techniques.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
