History

Tunnell Consulting was founded during a time of rapid economic expansion. Initially providing consulting services in strategic planning, manufacturing and industrial engineering, and Total Quality Management (TQM), the company expanded its services to include Six-Sigma capabilities, operational excellence, Lean tools, and proprietary methodologies.

In 2000, Tunnell focused exclusively on the life sciences industry, offering technical support and process improvement services across the entire life sciences spectrum, including pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and medical devices. Tunnell also entered the consulting field within critical life sciences and biomedical R&D segments of the Federal Government, responding to the increasing importance of pandemic disease preparedness and bioterrorism.
