About the role
Ophthalmology NJ is seeking a full-time Ophthalmologist to join a thriving comprehensive ophthalmology group in northern New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- See upwards of 40 patients per day in both medically and surgically complex cases
- Participate in a busy and diverse caseload
- Work in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, the largest and most integrative health system in New Jersey

Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Active and unrestricted medical license in New Jersey (or eligible for licensure)
- Completion of a residency in Ophthalmology
- Open to various applicable subspecialty trainings including: Glaucoma, Corneal, and Retinal
Qualifications
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Open to both full-time and part-time opportunities
- Encourages experienced providers and new graduates
- Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
