Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 5 ophthalmologists and 3 optometrists.
- Current need is for a general ophthalmologist who can provide comprehensive eye care.
- The current group has pediatric, retina and glaucoma specialists.
- Support staff consists of ophthalmic technicians, LPN's, and RN's and are well trained.
- On-call is every 5th weekend, from Cooperstown, and rarely busy.
- Outreach clinics are attended by all ophthalmologists but are limited to only one location each.
- Referral patterns to tertiary care ophthalmologists are well established.
Job Requirements
- MD, DO, or MBBS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- New York State Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required

Pay
Salary Range: $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
