Ophthalmologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Ophthalmologist to join a comprehensive Ophthalmology practice within a well-established multispecialty clinic. This role includes the medical and surgical management of a wide range of ocular conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. You will work alongside optometrists and other specialties in a team-based environment with access to on-site optical, diagnostic imaging (OCT, VF), and our ASC for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye care and surgical management in a collaborative outpatient setting
• Access advanced diagnostics and perform ophthalmic surgeries at affiliated ASC facilities
• Care coordination with PCPs, especially in diabetic retinopathy and chronic eye disease
• Serve a highly engaged, aging patient base in a region home to high-tech innovation
• Advance quality improvement initiatives in vision preservation and access equity

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty
• Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)

Benefits

• Competitive base salary $430,000
• $100,000 sign-on bonus, paid in four installments over the first year ($25,000 each)
