Ophthalmic Technician
About the role
We're looking for compassionate, detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technicians to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Perform vision, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision testing
- Gather and document patient medical histories and clinical information
- Administer eye drops and assist with specimen collection and processing
- Support patient flow and assist with urgent patient concerns
- Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Maintain clinical equipment and follow infection prevention protocols
Requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills
A positive, patient-focused attitude
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative, dependable mindset
Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus, but not required

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Ophthalmic Technician program preferred
