About the role
We’re seeking Ophthalmic Technicians to support our doctors and ensure a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Record vision, depth, color, and peripheral tests
- Apply eye drops, collect/process specimens
- Triage emergencies and manage patient flow
- Prepare rooms and assist doctors during procedures
- Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Strong verbal & written communication
- Friendly, patient-focused attitude
- Dependable problem solver under pressure
- Flexible team player with a can-do mindset
- Knowledge of ocular pharmacology (a plus, not required)
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Current certification as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred
