Ophthalmic Scribe

THE OPPORTUNITY Ophthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You’ll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures. What You’ll Do Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam roomsAccurately document physician-patient interactionsTrack orders, prescriptions, and testingPerform ophthalmic testing & work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.)Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptionsAudit charts for accuracyProvide exceptional patient care and service What We’re Looking For Strong verbal and written communication skillsOutgoing, dependable, and service-orientedCalm under pressure, adaptable to changePositive team player with a can-do attitudeKnowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required)Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
