About the role
The Ophthalmic Assistant-Trainee supports Ophthalmic Physicians by providing technical assistance during patient evaluations, treatments, and management of specialized ophthalmic cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient examinations and documentation
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during surgeries
- Manage inventory and supplies in the ophthalmic department
- Provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
- High school education plus additional training in a relevant field preferred
- Experience/training in health care field preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
