Responsibilities
- Perform various tests and directly assist the Ophthalmologist, ensuring each patient receives the attention they need.
- Anticipate the needs of both physicians and patients.
- Thrive in a cohesive team environment, fostering collaboration among physicians and staff.
- Commit to high-quality patient care to enhance the overall experience for patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college education or a degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting, particularly in an ophthalmic or optometric office, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to anticipate both physician and patient needs.
- Adaptability and teamwork.
Skills
- Knowledge of ophthalmic medical setting and medical terminology preferable.

Carolina Ophthalmology is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of western North Carolina with primary offices in Hendersonville, Asheville, Skyland, and Columbus, NC, and satellite offices in Spruce Pine and Waynesville.
