Safety
Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting, adhering to company policies, procedures, and on-site requirements.
Provide exceptional service to clients, professionally representing GFL, and maintain detailed, accurate company documentation.
Complete daily equipment pre-trips, driver logs for NSC compliance, and participate in safety programs like meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessments.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting, adhering to company policies, procedures, and on-site requirements.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, professionally representing GFL, and maintain detailed, accurate company documentation.
- Complete daily equipment pre-trips, driver logs for NSC compliance, and participate in safety programs like meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessments.
- Work independently, manage time and productivity efficiently, and communicate effectively.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A and 1+ years of industrial vacuum truck/tanker experience.
- Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
- Willingness to accept after-hour calls when necessary, with some short-term travel and overnight stays required.
- Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and H2S Alive are considered assets.
- Roll-off and Hydrovac truck experience a plus.
