Operator (Tie Layer) 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor machines and equipment used in manufacturing, coating, and processing tubing.
• Apply tie layer coating to tubing.
• Place tubing in equipment and perform visual and dimensional checks.
• Document process information on prescribed worksheets.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area and observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to carry out oral and written instructions and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to read job instructions.
• Capable of repetitive overhead lifting of lightweight tubing.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform inspection functions, including visual inspection for cosmetic defects and color differentiation.
• Ability to stand, stoop, or sit for sustained periods of time.

• Ability to work independently and learn a variety of skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manipulate data using various software packages.
