Operator, Special Sewing

Workwear Outfitters, a leading supplier of work apparel and footwear for diverse occupations, is seeking a Special Sew Operator to join their team. With a strong legacy of building innovative and authentic market-right products, Workwear Outfitters is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and has over 5,500 employees globally. As a Special Sew Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality garments for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and sew garments according to specifications.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets, and any other additional options on garments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment that reflects pride in Workwear Outfitters.

Schedule

1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required.

Skills

• Sewing experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to write, read, and speak English.
• Ability to read and understand option codes on Ready Service Worksheets.
• Able to sit for 8 hours and work overtime when necessary.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and marking garments.
