About the role

KGHM ZANAM S.A. is one of the largest producers of machinery and equipment for the mining sector in Poland. The company also manufactures equipment used in transshipment systems, transport units, tunneling, and open-pit mines. Additionally, it is a significant producer of steel and cast iron castings.

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Underground SMG Operator at KGHM ZANAM S.A., located at the KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. mine site.

Responsibilities

• Operation of SMG (self-propelled machinery) in accordance with their intended purpose and technical documentation
• Performing repairs, inspections, and maintenance of SMG and mixing-loading device (MUP)
• Assembly and disassembly of equipment
• Ensuring the proper condition of machines

Requirements

• Vocational or technical education in mechanical or related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience working underground
• Completed training as an operator of self-propelled machinery: loaders, blasting machines, scaling machines, machines with movable platforms in underground mining operations
• Experience in positions such as fitter, mechanic, or SMG operator underground
• Knowledge of principles for performing fitter and mechanical work
• Certificate of no criminal record
• Stress resistance
• Ability to work in a team

Qualifications

• Completed training as an operator of SWT vehicles
• Knowledge of SMG construction
• Experience working underground
