Operator - Press ( Night Shift 7:00pm-7:00am)

About the role

Operate and monitor press machinery to meet customer and production goals. Set up machines for production runs, inspect materials, troubleshoot malfunctions, perform routine maintenance, and train assistants. Maintain a clean, safe workspace and complete required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up, operate, and monitor press machinery and equipment.
• Complete press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
• Monitor the production process, inspect and test materials and equipment to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas.
• Verify and track all materials for inventory and work-in-progress regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Train and provide guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
• Maintain machinery and surrounding areas by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and report safety hazards.
• Complete all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
• Collaborate with other departments or team members to coordinate production activities and address issues.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
