Operator -Plant

About the Role

Operates a production material plant, maintains material quality, and performs basic maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial processing equipment such as screens, crushers, and conveyor systems.
• Monitor equipment movement and condition within assigned responsibility area.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues, including mechanical failures, electrical problems, or software glitches.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Optimize plant operations to ensure peak efficiency and production.
• Maintain a clean and safe working station (housekeeping).
• Perform record-keeping requirements.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Company policies, procedures, and requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in the construction/mining industry preferred.
• Experience with automated processing equipment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial processing equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, pull, push, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying and/or extreme weather conditions (heat, wet, cold, etc.).
• Ability to work required overtime and a flexible work schedule.
• Ability to speak, read, and have a working knowledge of the English language.
