About the role

The Operator will perform equipment operation, installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist by performing assigned tasks
• Operate equipment such as line trucks, bucket trucks, track trenchers, derricks, and backhoes
• Handle materials under the direct supervision of an assigned journeyperson
• Maintain all materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and orderly fashion
• Keep the work area clean at all times
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment

Requirements

License Requirements

• Class ‘A’ CDL
• Must be deemed insurable by the company’s insurance carrier

Education

• High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience

Experience

• Two or more years of construction equipment operation experience
