Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a front-end loader and other power construction equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, scrapers, motor graders, shovels, and derricks.
- Repair and replace crusher components, including conveyor belts, guarding, and rollers.
- Perform light fabrication, welding, and cutting tasks.
- Control attachments like buckets, swing booms, scrapers, and blades on heavy equipment.
- Maintain and operate large pumps and air compressors, including controlling water and air output.
- Conduct basic maintenance and repair of operated equipment.
- Perform equipment and materials inspections as encouraged.
- Comprehend and follow verbal and written specifications and instructions.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MSHA Certification.
- OSHA 10-hour Certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification desired.
- Pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
- Pass a Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
Physical Requirements
- May occasionally exert force of 20-50 pounds.
- Frequently lift or move 10-25 pounds.
- Constantly handle up to 10 pounds.
