Aveve Zaden in Landen is looking for a versatile Operator-Technician to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between operator and technician, ensuring smooth production flow while managing machine setup, operation, and safe shutdown. You’ll combine technical expertise with hands-on operational skills to play a key part in our production process.

Responsibilities

• Start up, adjust, and shut down production equipment
• Monitor the production process and perform operational tasks
• Resolve minor technical issues and perform first interventions
• Identify recurring problems and contribute to process improvements
• Assist with maintenance work as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with production and technical service teams
• Train, guide, and support colleagues in proper equipment operation, startup, and adjustment
• Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the team’s technical and operational skills

Requirements

• Technical education or relevant experience
• Strong technical aptitude with a practical mindset
• Experience in a production environment is a plus
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work in a shift system
