Responsibilities

• Assembling electrical control cabinets and panels according to engineering drawing and wiring diagrams
• Installing components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and wiring
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layout drawings
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area following safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or similar manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring practices
• Experience with industrial control panels or electrical cabinet assembly
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed work
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures)

Work environment

This position operates in a production/manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures. Steel/composite shoes required, safety glasses required.

Pay

The hourly pay scale for this position is between $20.71 - $34.49. This position is eligible for participation in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k).
