About the role

We're building meaningful careers and vibrant communities at America's largest Coca-Cola bottler. As an Operator Manufacturing III, you'll set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. You'll inspect parts, make adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality specifications, and assist with setting up and operating production equipment while following established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-operation activities on multiple pieces of equipment to ensure proper startup and operation.
  • Operate and monitor equipment during operation, perform setup and changeover, inspect parts, and make adjustments or tool changes to maintain quality specifications and ensure minimal unplanned stops.
  • Perform scheduled quality assurance tests in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate results to ensure continuous production of high-quality products with minimal waste.
  • Perform housekeeping activities and sanitations on production equipment.
  • Operate equipment including Palletizing machines (1-2 machines), Stretch Wrap machine, and the computerized Pallet Tag machine.
  • Unload product from Palletizing machines or load product directly into trailers using Radio Frequency (RF) Tablet.
  • Scan product while safely stacking it in Warehouse bin locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs., stand for prolonged periods, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled to support customer demand.
  • Ability to work in elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection.
  • Ability to work in seasonal temperatures.

Pay

$20.00 - $21.54 hourly, depending on experience.

Schedule

2nd Shift, 4:30pm - 5:00am, on a 2, 2, 3 day rotation.

Work Environment

Noisy, wet, and subject to extreme seasonal temperatures.
