Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate machines safely, efficiently, and cleanly.
• Effectively communicate as required with supervisor.
• Assure that the necessary tools, settings and supplies are ready prior to production.
• Maintain constant attendance to the machines and prevent other employees that are not trained on that machine from improper use.
• Record and account for all materials used on the line for assigned shift.
• Absorb and maintain the work areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Make minor machine adjustments, and inform the supervisor and the maintenance department when major repairs are required.
• Record all down time due to machine malfunctions and report them to the supervisor at the end of the shift.
• Adhere to all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices), such as good hand washing practices and adhering to the employee hygiene plan.
• Follow all USDA guidelines.
• Report any issues regarding food safety or quality to supervision and/or quality assurance.
• Comply with customer requirements when applicable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of production experience.
• Able to make logical decisions.
• Work bending and squatting.
• Good communications skills, hard working, dependable, safety conscious.
• Read, write English and know basic math.
• Able to operate mechanical and electrical machines.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work standing or walking for long periods of time.
• Work bending and squatting.
• Work making fast and repetitive hand motions.
• Work in cold refrigerated and frozen conditions.

Pay

In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location. Annual Range/Hourly Rate $20.30 - $20.30
