Operator III - Water
About the role
The Operator III, Water will operate and maintain assigned facilities and actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water facilities
- Support Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor
- Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of three (5) years' experience in the Water field or related industry
- Must possess a minimum, valid active T-2 and/or D-2 Water Operator License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated strong communication skills
- Computer literate in Windows and MS Office
- Available for after-hours and on-call work as required
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company-provided online training)
- Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen
- Valid US Driver's License
