About the Role
Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) offering end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions across the drug life cycle. We serve clients through a globally integrated network of facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia, offering services including Drug Discovery Solutions, Process & Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical Trial Supplies, Commercial supply of APIs and Finished dosage forms, and specialized services like development and manufacture of Highly Potent APIs and Antibody Drug Conjugation.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, disassemble, clean, and reassemble granulation equipment (low and high shear mixers, mills, and fluid bed dryers)
- Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned between batches to prevent cross-contamination and maintain GMP compliance
- Monitor process parameters to ensure consistency and product quality
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects or irregularities
- Read, review, and train on SOPs using internal systems
- Complete documentation and support production metrics as required
- Build effective working relationships across teams
- Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; equivalent education, training, or experience will be considered
- 3–5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working in a cGMP-regulated environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Ability to work safely with heavy equipment
- Regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle equipment and tools
- Good vision, hearing, and communication abilities required
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must not be allergic to chemicals or bio substances found in production environments
Schedule
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 9:00 AM, Monday – Thursday (4 x 10-hour shifts)
